Long Weekend Trip
Great friendly staff. The room was clean. It was quiet at night. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. I like that the most. Free hot breakfast in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening was very convenient for our family. We didn't have to worry about where to eat before we head out to the nearby attractions. The only down side to this is the A/C is too loud. But at least it works. I was able to sleep with the noise because it was cool in the room. I would definitely stay again.

Pleasant stay
Last Long weekend We stayed in Oxford Suites Redding. It was a very pleasant stay – room was convenient and clean, well conditioned (100 F outside). This hotel is popular – but service is amazing: Hot breakfast was probably the best – with omelets , potatoes selection and much more other breakfast choices. Evening reception included 2 glass of cold wine or beer, selection like chicken wings and veggie tray.
Location is really convenient to highway access and plenty of restaurants /shops nearby
Service was amazing ! The staff was really nice and helpful :I forgot my camera battery charger in our room, we just called the hotel receptionist and got my lost items mailed to my home promptly. If you are planning to attend Shasta-Lassen Trinity area or just travel through the Redding CA you must stay in Oxford Suites Redding- the best value for money you can get along with pleasant experience!

Great deal for families
The Oxford Suites has been renovated in the past year or so and it's gorgeous. Modern, cute decor makes it almost feel like a small boutique hotel. There are true suites with actual doors that can close off a portion of the room so little ones can nap while mom and dad watch TV, and that was a huge plus for us. The breakfast is a FULL breakfast...bacon, eggs, sausage, biscuits, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee, toast, and even cereal. The amount you save on that meal alone with your family makes this place a steal in terms of value.
The rooms are on the smallish side, but are well appointed with mini fridges and microwaves and I believe most if not all have two TVs. As other travelers have noted, the one problem that was annoying was that the walls are a bit thin. However, on our first night when we complained about the noise level of the large group next to us, the staff took care of it right away and the rest of our stay was just fine.
The staff was really nice and helpful and seemed very family friendly, which is nice. Some places you go in immediately give you the stink eye for bringing in small kids.
There is also free wifi, which was a plus. Seems like the nicer the hotel these days, the more they charge for every little thing. I've stayed at equally nice places in the bay area and had to pay for wifi. If you're not from the Redding area, this hotel is in a nice central location that allows you to walk to many well known restaurants, it's just a stones throw from most of the major shopping in Redding, and it's easy to get to from the freeway. I am from Redding originally and now that my family is so large, we usually stay in hotels when visiting my parents. With their remodel, this is probably the nicest, best value hotel in town.

The best place we have stayed to date at a reasonable price
My wife and grandchildren ages 3 and 5 and I just spend a week at the Oxford Suites in Redding and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was great and the evening wine was a fine way to end the day. Our grandchildren loved the pool.

Pleasantly Surprised
I picked this hotel based on customer reviews, and I was not disappointed in the least. This hotel had many nice "extras" such as fridge and microwave in the room, exercise room, hot breakfast buffet and a small store with sundries, snacks and beverages. It is also within short walking distance to several restaurants. To top it off, the staff was VERY friendly and helpful.
